This Mother’s Day, join us in celebrating mums of all species—including the mother figures in your life. Take our quiz now to discover your wild side!

Dear Tessa,

As a mum, I couldn't resist taking our new Mother’s Day quiz, and let’s just say, the results made me smile. It was one of those heart-warming moments that reminded me how much humans share with the amazing animals around us and in the wild.

From warm-hearted whales, bold tigers, and fearless rhinos to affectionate koalas and playful seals, we work tirelessly to protect all kinds of animals here at IFAW. Sometimes their BIG personalities even remind us of our own—which is why we’ve created a quick, fun quiz to tell you which animal mum matches your personality most!

Take the quiz: Which animal mum are you?

Maybe you like to keep your little ones close like Missy, the protective giraffe who recently gave birth to her third calf, or you prioritize teaching life lessons like Kadiki the elephant, the wise matriarch of the orphan herd—or perhaps you’re the calm, gentle caregiver, just like Charlotte, the koala. Take our fun quiz now to find out—it will only take you a few minutes!

The animal kingdom is full of incredible mothers who want nothing more than to remain with their young to keep them safe and sound. But that maternal bond is threatened for so many animals. IFAW is dedicated to fighting these threats, whether we’re protecting elephants and rhinos from poaching, advocating for whales so mothers can swim freely and safely in our oceans and raise their calves, or stepping in to help an orphaned giraffe grow up strong and confident.

Thank you for all you do for mothers and their families in the wild.

From all of us at IFAW, Happy Mother’s Day!
